Who we are. The Church of the Transfiguration is an Episcopal parish that also offers an ecumenical service attended by a variety of individuals from various Protestant denominations. We consider ourselves to be one church with two different worship styles. Worship at both the 8:30 AM ecumenical service and the 10:15 Episcopal service can best be described as traditional Protestant worship. Both services utilize traditional hymns accompanied by a choir and wonderful organ, scripture readings, prayers and a sermon. At the ecumenical service, the order of worship follows historical Protestant traditions. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month. At the Episcopal service, the service is liturgical utilizing the Book of Common Prayer with Holy Communion celebrated each Sunday. Each service offers a wonderful opportunity to worship in a beautiful setting. Please come join us!
